any progress on contacting only4she.com to remove photos? their theft of kenzi's, darcy's, nick's photos is snowballing - I am seeing other sites taking only4she's photos and duplicating them. It seems to me that we need to pressure the only4she site to remove pix.

here's one that has a gallery including several of our artist's pix stolen by only4she:

Hi,

I apologize for this. A friend of mine had sent me 2 of these photos (the 3rd is my design) and she said they were hers and that I could use them for the article. I am sorry since I can't do anything about this now, but I'll make sure I check my sources better next time. I don't use anyone else's designs without giving them the credit.

Please accept my apologies Darcy and Arca.

I'm sorry, but I don't have much sympathy for someone who calls themself an "amazing artist" and uses someone else's artwork to promote themselves. I also have a difficult time believing that you can't personally contact the interviewer/website and request that they either credit the photos online, remove them or subsitute them with your own work. As the website stands, you are violating copyright and the artists have the right to sue you for the use of their photos. I hope Arca & Darcy write to the website and demand that the entire article be taken down.

If you are truly sorry, please do something about it. As my granny used to say "sorry don't put beans on the table."

I have written to Darcy about this and I am going to take on your suggestion and contact the website asap to fix my error. Thank you again Arca for bringing it to my attention.

Yes it does look like the website is down too from my end. So hopefully they are handling it correctly cause this was a response I had initially gotten but maybe they took action because some other people contacted them and complained as well

EMAIL RESPONSE BELOW:

Dear Customer

you wll need to take action against them as we can only act on offical complaints for the police or courts
you will be able to contact them though the website you are complaining about as there are contact details
on their own site

Regards,

Neil Johnson
Business Supervisor
Level 2

Too bad they can't even spell too well. dag!

Not only can they not spell correctly, they have no concept of punctuation or grammar. Sounds like their Business Supervisor needs to complete their education.

Waboosia, the design on the left (two hands) is from Nick's book Sahel -- I have used it myself on occasion -- but I don't know if the photo is Nick's.

yeah kijiji usually handles things quickly and well, as it has happened to me before on there. I thought it was your photo Darcy because of the background mostly, it just ringed a bell! welcome
