I know this is a hair forum but I have had yet another discovery in the world of cool and unusual clays that I wanted to share with you all :)
My skin has been a bit patchy and red lately which has been annoying me so I had a good poke around my clay drawer last night (yes, I have a clay drawer!) and took out my tulsi powder and my lemon peel powder (a new one I recently picked up from the indian grocer - smells beautifully of fresh lemons!). I mixed the two 50/50 with a little rose water and then had a long soak in some salty bath water and wow!! my skin is beautifully soft and smooth today and the color has evened out really nicely. I don't if you guys ever get a little redness around the corners of your mouth but this paste completely got rid of the redness there, yay! _________________ ' and tis my faith that every flower enjoys the air it breathes ' - Wordsworth

That sounds nice. I've used honey to make a mask for the face and green clay and red clay, but not the tulsi. I might have to give it a whirl. I love kitchen witchery and beauty products. _________________ Victoria |
